Let the "look" speak!

I found these amazing graphics of how your favorite outfits for fall could be paired with our favorite new products from the Fall 2013 Thirty-One Catalog!  It's our best EVER!  I'm so excited to share these ideas with you.   I'm gonna hush my mouth, and let the "looks" do the talkin' for me!

LOVE the Retro Metro Bag!!  I love teal and brown, too!

The Cindy Tote is a classic; perfect for professionals or stay at home moms.  I know many who use this as a diaper bag!

I have this bag ordered; it should be here TODAY!!  Can't WAIT!!

**The pattern, Black Happy Dot, is no longer available as of September 1.  However, there are so many other prints that would make this look amazing!**

Big Dot.  Not one of my favorites, but it's still a lovely pattern and I'd totally wear it!

The Casual Cargo bag is one I don't have--yet.  It's on its' way TODAY and I can't WAIT to see it!  I ordered MINE in "Say It Taupe".  Yes, we brought it BACK!

Sea Plaid is one of the brand new patterns for fall!  It goes well with Turquoise Cross Pop (one of our older patterns) as well!

Orange and teal.  I couldn't have done this better myself!  The orange monogram on the purse is what ties it all together.

Yeah!  We've got spirit, yes we do!  Thirty-One has spirit...and so can you! :)  The Collegiate Line has many new teams this catalog.  Check the catalog out online: www.mythirtyone.com!

I think this might be my favorite outfit.  I have the Free To Be Carry All purse in this pattern--Brown Woodblock Floral.  I love it.  LOVE IT.  It holds so much more than it looks like it can hold and it's not huge or bulky.  It's a fantastic crossbody, and worn over your shoulder, it looks just as fantastic!

I think I have those shoes!  I don't have the bag however!  The Vary You Backpack Purse is what it says it is: Versatile and easy to use!  It can be used as a backpack, a crossbody or just a plain purse.

Another way to use this awesome bag!

I wish I had graphics of ALL our bags, but this is it for now.  Thirty-One has a large variety of items. We're not just purses.  We are home organization, we are purses, we are wallets, and pet products.  We have sports bags, caddies, utility totes and coolers.  It's an amazing product line, and we literally have something for everyone.  Let me know if you have any questions!  We think of everything!

September is: The month of the CUSTOMER!

Oh...my...goodness!  So, most of my readers know two things:  The Fall Catalog is NOW AVAILABLE and I'm SO EXCITED about it!  But some of you may not know...

What does this mean to you?  A few things!  It means that if you book an in-home or online party in the month of September, and you manage to bring in $600 or MORE in sales, you will earn DOUBLE HOSTESS REWARDS.  And customers know: Thirty-One rewards their customers and hostesses--WELL.  I have people who host for the rewards and earn enough that they don't come out of pocket anything but tax and shipping and get everything on their wish-lists!  If you're willing to work with your Consultant, your dreams can come true!

Hostess rewards are:  Half price items, Hostess Credit (money towards items=free items) and the opportunity to purchase Exclusive Items at a discount.  Only hostesses can purchase those items, so they're an even better treat.  September is truly the month of the Hostess.

Also, you know by now that Thirty-One offers Monthly Specials.  September is no different.  On top of the Double Hostess Rewards special, we do have the actual September Monthly Special:

For every $35 you spend, you can purchase one of these amazing utility totes for HALF PRICE.  The Organizing Utility Tote is perfect for so many things!  I own 9 of them and I've used them for everything from carrying my kids toys around the house while I clean, hampers, gym bags, diaper bags, work bags, to organize my car, carrying cleaning supplies around my house.  You name it, I've probably done it with my Organizing Utility Tote.  And the Super Organizing Utility Tote is fantastic for hauling larger things--and it has a zipper!  I was introduced to this product last month, and honestly, I'm not sure why I didn't already own one.  It's a few inches taller than the Organizing Utility Tote, but that zipper can make all the difference in the world.  This bag is perfect for teachers...hint, hint!

Below is the link to our new Fall Catalog.  You can download it to save for later, or you can just take a peek for now. https://dlifcdwkub65h.cloudfront.net/products/Catalogs/fall2013/Catalog.pdf

Let me know if I can help you with a party or purchase this month!  Email me: mythirtyonederfullife@gmail.com if you have any questions at all.

August: The month of the handbag!

Wow, it's already the end of August!  Our kids headed back to school, football is back and we're all just about ready for Fall.  I know I can't wait for cooler temperatures and pumpkin flavored everything!  But, we have to say goodbye to Summer, first!

The August Special for Thirty-One this month:  Your $35 purchase will get you one of the new Girl On The Go products for 50% off.  It's such an amazing deal; one I used myself!  I got the "Classic" Skirt Purse (If you think you might fall in love with this bag in the future, do yourself a favor and get it NOW.  If you already love it, get a back up NOW and put it away while you can get it for HALF PRICE!) and it came with the new Plum Awesome Blossom Skirt.  LOVE!  I think it was a fantastic decision to get a "back up".  Before long the only place you'll find them is on eBay for way too much.  A few other bags that I'm in love with are the Carry-All, the Suite Skirt Purse and the Organizing Shoulder Bag.  All of which are included in this August Special!  Below are some of the new purses and styles.  All of these are available for 50% off, and I'd be more than happy to help you make your purchase!  Email: mythirtyonederfullife@gmail.com.

More updates this afternoon, including the retirement items and a few ideas of how to use your products better!  Happy Shopping!

Half-Way Gone...

I know I've mentioned in the past few days that Thirty-One is bringing in their new Fall 2013 Catalog starting on September 1.  And that in order to bring in some new (ah-may-zing!) products, we have to say good-bye to some classics and favorites.  I think the hardest loss for *me* is going to be the "Classic" Skirt Purse.  The bases in all three colors (gray, black and brown) will be retired on August 31, but there are new skirts available for purchase in the Fall 2013 catalog.  A lot of fantastic patterns, too! So, I think for *this* particular blog post, I'll post pictures of my dear friend, the "Classic" Skirt Purse.  You've got a little while longer to snatch this beauty up before it heads to that big hand bag rack in the sky...

Those of you who know me know:  I'm not a fan of Pink Pop Medallion.  I think it's too plain.  I have the skirt for the purse, and the photos are on the sidebar of the blog.  Here it is,  little bit more broken up, for those of you who don't need the entire pattern all at once.

I wasn't really a "pink" person until I realized how cute Pink Cross Pop really is!  It goes with everything, especially Party Punch in this Timeless Wristlet.  Everything in this photo is retiring on August 31. Hurry and get this look.  I know how you can get it for $67.50.  Ask me!

Someone once asked me why I don't have anything in Yellow.  I do.  There just haven't been a whole lot of yellow patterns since Awesome Blossom departed.  I made it work just for them!  Bright and sunny! :)

For the 'Bama fans in my life...Roll Tide!  *gag*  I kid...

I have never been a fan of the Inspirations Skirt or pattern.  But here, with the accent of the Turquoise Cross Pop, I actually like it.  And I like it even better this way...

With the pink!  I don't know if I love the "color" as much as the "contrast".  Either way, I'm happy it's all mine!  But a little sad that it's all retiring...

Gray Brushed Twill here for the base, along with Pink Cross Pop and Party Punch accents.  It works!

Whoopsy!  Forgot the coin purse! ;)

Patchwork Paisley was never a favorite of mine.  But, it's a favorite of MANY.  It's retiring this month, so snag it while you can.  Oh, and after I got all the adorable matching pieces to Patchwork Paisley...it kind of grew on me.

Oh, my summer set!!  Island Damask was the ultimate summer pattern!  I'm going to miss it.  But these products are still around in one form or another.  Everything in the photo above will retire on August 31.  Get it while you can get it!

Before I saw the new catalog, I decided that Woodblock Floral would be my pattern for fall.  I'm so happy this print is sticking around in a few things--the skirt!  Everything else in the picture is retiring, however.

And here it is with Pink Cross Pop.  I think this is just as cute as blue!  Again, contrast...

There's an idea of how I use this product.  I have 25 skirts and all three skirt bases.  I'm clearly biased, and clearly invested.  Here is a quick look at the patterns this "Classic" Skirt Purse is available in NOW:

There you go, everyone!  What you need to know about the "Classic "Skirt Purse!  If you have any questions, let me know.  Happy Shopping!

Everything old is new again!

As I mentioned yesterday, Thirty-One is announcing quite a few new handbags for the Fall Catalog!  One of the new lines is the Girl On The Go line of purses and totes.  The August Special highlights those products and offers them at a discounted price (50% off for every $35 you spend on other items) and makes them even more affordable and appealing for the back to school girls, teachers or moms.  I'm really excited about them and I've had access to two of the styles already:  The Free To Be Carry-All and the Suite Skirt Purse.  The patterns I selected are fresh and perfect for fall!  Not too bright, not too heavy.  They make sense and work well with the other items I have and love.  Turquoise Cross Pop was one of my favorite "accents" of the Summer.  It played well with every pattern offered, and I'm really sad to see it go.  It even works well with some of the Fall Products.  That's why I'm sharing these photos with you.  I think everyone should see that you don't have to throw out or sell your old products to get new ones!  This can save you a little money and mix up your look!  I've already received compliments about how well I've paired my own Thirty-One products, both old and new!  Here's an idea for you, too!

This is *part* of the Woodblock Floral line.  Everything except the Skirt Purse Base, the Mini Zipper Pouch and the Rosette are departing August 31.  I purchased these products to be my "Fall Pattern" before I saw the new Fall catalog, and I'm still planning to mix this in.  Look at that Icon Coin Purse!!  He's so cute!

This is my entire collection--so far--for Fall.  Half of what you see is leaving as of August 31, but that didn't deter me!  Look how well it all plays together!  Love...

Mixing old and new is one of my favorite things with Thirty-One. I never get bored! They've always got something fresh to offer and these are some of my favorite for Fall! The Woodblock Floral (originally in the gray) is sticking around, but the Timeless Wristlet (In Turquoise Cross Pop) and the Retro Metro Wallet (in Woodblock Floral and in Turquoise Cross Pop) along with the "original" Skirt Purse (in the brown base with the Woodblock Floral skirt) will be departing on August 31. I'm sad to see the "original" go (it's my favorite) but I'm really excited about all the newer items. Featured in this photo are a few bags from the Girl On The Go Line: The Free To Be Carry-All in Brown Woodblock Floral, the Suite Skirt Purse in Brown with the Sea Plaid base and the Organizing Shoulder Bag are all part of the new Fall Line. I'm in love with them already, and look how well they work together with their departing friends!

Hopefully, this will remind you of two things:  You don't have to go broke to achieve an awesome look, and old things can still work well with newer things!  Mix and match and save a few bucks!!

Out with the old and in with the new!

Wow, y'all!  I can't believe it's been a MONTH since I've updated this blog!  I've had quite a lot going on and finally found a spare moment to share with everyone some information!

Every 4 months, Thirty-One releases a new catalog, just in time for a fresh new season!  And at the "end" of each season, they release their Pattern/Product Retirement Lists for everyone to sort of take part in a "last chance" sale to pick up their favorites before they're gone forever.  It's also a great time to take advantage of some awesome deals consultants offer their customers to usher in the new catalog and new season.  Here are some photos of *my* personal Thirty-One collection and what is departing as of August 31.  Keep in mind: these are not ALL of the items that are retiring, only the ones I own personally.  Here you go:

Departing as of August 31: Easy Breezy Tote AND the pattern Island Damask, Elite Retro Metro Tote, Thermal Zipper Pouch, Mini Thermal Zipper Pouch, Cinch It Up Thermal, and the pattern Patchwork Paisley.  Larger View of everything I have that is leaving. The items on the table are in detail in the previous picture. In THIS picture: Skirt Purse (in ALL color bases), Pink Cross Pop Cinch Sac (pattern), Inside Out Bag, Island Damask Scarf (pattern), Take it Slow (pattern), Turquoise Cross Pop Skirt, Railroad Denim Skirt, Pig Icon Coin Purse, Snail Icon Coin Purse, Wristlet (in ALL patterns), Keep It Caddy in Turquoise Cross Pop and Fold and Go Organizer in Turquoise Cross Pop (Also, Party Punch will be departing; not shown).

While I'm sad to see these amazing items leave, I'm so excited to see the new Fall Product Line that I can hardly contain it!   Stay tuned; more updates to come TOMORROW!!!

Happy Independence Day, America!

As some of you go off to celebrate our country today, I ask that you be mindful of a few things:

Thank a soldier or their spouse.  Better yet, thank their children.  They do so much for our country; they sacrifice more than you could imagine.

Remember that today is about so much more than fireworks and hot dogs.

Enjoy yourselves safely, and have a great time!

And from Thirty-One gifts...

I wish you and your fabulous Thirty-One products a fun and Thirty-One-Derful Fourth!

Back to school? Yes, ma'am!

I know, I know: It's July!  It's not even close to time to go back to school.  Well, my kids go back on August 19th, so it's something that's on my mind.  And I'm so excited about what they're going to be using for their books and lunches...you guessed it!  Thirty-One.  Check out what we're working with:

For my oldest, Kaylie:

The Cinch Sac is good for light days, but I wouldn't use it as their sole back pack.  The Thermal Tote is a great lunch box; it holds all you could need to send to school with your child and keeps it cool or warm all day long.  The pencil bag is not a Thirty-One product; but you can find it at any local store.

This is a great look for a teenager/pre-teen.  Kaylie carried this Inside Out bag to school a few days at the end of the year, and it held all her books and binders.  It's just not her favorite pattern (She prefers Black Floral Brushstrokes or Pink Pop Medallion!) so she asked if she could have her other bags back!

This will be Megan's back to school look!  The Cinch Sac will be good for her; she's still in lower elementary school.  It will hold her books, her sweater, and her Thermal Tote.  The Thermal Tote will be perfect for lunch, and then she's got her little Icon Coin Purse in Turtle for extra milk money.  I love this pattern!

This is *MY* back to school look!  I always have Wyatt with me, and blue is a fantastic color for a boy.  Who cares about the flowers? :)

TONS of great looks!  I love Thirty-One!  I hope I gave you some ideas of what you might consider purchasing...

Keepin' the Kiddos Calm...

I'm sure I've mentioned before that we are a Military Family.  And as we all know: Military Families are always on the go.  MOST families are always on the go, actually, but we move so much it's hard to keep up with all our stuff.  This is actually one of the reasons I started buying Thirty-One to begin with.  They have so many products for keeping up with your things and organizing that I couldn't NOT spend my money on their quality products.  I started out with a Thermal Tote that I used to carry water bottles to the park, and just last week I placed an order for things to organize my son's bedroom.  I'll share pictures of that when my order comes in!

One of the products that I learned about this Spring was the Fold n' Go organizer.  I thought I could use it for organizing a few every day things I needed for my jewelry business.  I kept business cards in one pouch, the note pad that came with it in the middle and some brochures on the side with the stretch pouch.  It worked out perfectly!  But I didn't realize how many uses that puppy actually HAS until I needed a solution for another problem I had...

My kids love to carry things with them.  My oldest loves to read and draw, my middle girl loves to color and use stickers, and then my son just does whatever the girls are doing at the moment because he's 4 and it's easier to copy than come up with something on his own.  They were using the pouches on the back of my car seats and they left crayons in there (and of course, they melted) because they couldn't get their fingers in all the way to pull them back out.  BIG PROBLEM.  I looked at all the stuff they kept bringing in and out of the car and I thought "I think I have something that might help..." and I dumped out my Fold n' Go organizer and badabing!  It all fits, including my son's Leap Pad!  I wish I had pictures of how "we" use ours, but we only have ONE.  The rest are coming soon!  Until then, I'll let you feast your eyes on the way another customer has decided to use hers!  Fantastic!

I already love this product!!

Information and what-not...

Hey y'all!  I just wanted to take a moment to say: this page isn't intended to sell Thirty-One's products.  I'm not stating any affiliation whatsoever with Thirty-One products, nor am I intentionally providing you with inside information that would benefit the company or any consultant.  This blog is for informational purposes only.  It is intended to show you how much I love the product, how you can use the product, and just generally have a good time with a product line that I believe in and support based on my own personal experiences and beliefs.  I've been buying Thirty-One for two years now, and I'm hooked.

You can clearly see from the photos that these are MY items.  I own them, I've customized them, and I'm showing you how I use them.  If you decide to purchase your items based on how I use mine, that's completely up to you!  I hope you do; I hope you see how wonderful the products are and that you want them in your home.

You can find all the information that I share here on their website or through any search engine you'd like.  It is open, public knowledge that they provide themselves to help you make your decisions!  I'm sure that since you found this blog, you are already interested in the product...I'm just here to show you what you can do with it.  Who you purchase it from is entirely up to you.  Keep in mind: if you already know someone who sells Thirty-One, you can search for your consultant through their website.  Also, public knowledge.

Thirty-One is a Christian-based company, from what I've seen and read, and I can get with a product line that shares my morals.  I'd rather buy my products from them than someplace else like a big-box store that provides terrible customer service and even lower quality products.

I have several online blogs where I blog about other topics.  I have one for hand-crafted jewelry, and I have one for religious topics.  You're more than welcome to check out those blogs as well.  Have a Thirty-One-derful day, everyone!

Summer Camps and Sleep Overs!

Wow!  It's finally Summer!  Summer is one my favorite times of year.  It's gorgeous (and hot) outside, and there's so much to do.  The days are longer, the food is sweeter and the mosquitos are bigger!  Maybe it's just an Alabama-thing...

When I was a kid, Summer was all about camp and sleep-overs.  Instead of sleep-away camp, we mostly went to day-camps for daycare while our parents worked.  But it was still amazing!  We still brought our back packs and lunch boxes and I can't even tell you how many times I lost mine, traded mine for something better (a three layered skirt---THREE LAYERS and HOT PINK...a Milli Vanilli tape single...those were the days...) and got in trouble.  I hated my stuff.  It was totally lame.  I begged for cute stuff, but nope.  Mom couldn't afford it. But now, I have a solution: Thirty-One!  Affordable, sometimes FREE but ALWAYS adorable!  If I could be my 10 year old self again, here's what I'd pick:

Cinch Sac: Best Buds

Thermal Tote; Best Buds

Icon Coin Purse; Turtle

Look how stinkin' cute these things are?  And of course we do have these in other patterns; this one just happens to be *my* favorite!  Mom could have gotten me these and she could have gotten herself a Large Utility Tote for $10 if this was the June special way back then...

I bet your kids would love to carry some of Thirty-One's amazing products.  All of them are so useful!  My daughters all have one of the pieces I shared above; my DOG even has a Cinch Sac!  My son has a them as well, along with zipper pouches to sort his necessities (he's still small and needs a diaper bag type thing).  That's another great idea for another blog!

All of them together...fantastic look for your daughter!
